The Y makes accessible the support and opportunities that empower people and communities to learn grow and thrive. With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility the Y nurtures the potential of every child and teen, improves Utahans health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support our neighbors.

We believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. That’s why, through the Y thousands of youth today are cultivating the values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement.

In communities across the state, the Y is a leading voice on health and well-being. With a mission centered on balance, the Y brings families closer together, encourages good health and fosters connections through fitness, sports, fun and shared interests. As a result, thousands of youth, adults and families are receiving the support guidance and resources needed to achieve greater health and well-being for their spirit, mind and body.

The generosity of others is at the core of the Y’s existence as a nonprofit. It is only through the support of our hundreds of thousands of volunteers and public and private donors that we are able to support and give back to the communities we engage.
