Watch your child explore the outdoors, develope new skills, and enjoy their summer to the fullest!

This summer the Y will be offering 10 weeks of Summer Day Camp programming in Heber. Our Day Camp is divided into three age-appropriate groups in which campers engage in arts & crafts, outdoor education, group games, teambuilding and much more with daily off-site excursions. Summer Day Camp Programming is design to excite youth about what they participate in and learn each and every day. Programming includes daily trips around Wasatch , including Camp Roger in Soapstone Basin, Wasatch Mountain State Park, and the Kamas Aquatic Center for swimming. Each week has a specific theme that influences the week’s schedule such as: field trips, outdoor games, art crafts, and activities.

Summer Age Groups

Pioneers (ages 6-8)

The Pioneers experience a structured environment that strengthens their development of motor skills, physical fitness, and overall learning through hands on experiences. From the moment campers arrive each day, counselors guide them through the traditional camp experience giving campers the opportunities be active, sign songs, tell stories, and meet new friends.

Adventurers (ages 9-11)

With a focus on fun and physical activity, our Adventurers express their growing personalities and challenge their imagination in our summer program.  Campers experience traditional camp to the fullest through hands on experiences and adventures.

Voyagers (ages 12-14)

Voyagers will be engaged in activities to help build their social and personal responsibility, and encourage and enhance their interest in the outdoors and active lifestyles.  Voyagers will have the opportunity to experience archery, mountain biking, and team building, among other activities as they experience camp and grow.
