For over 60 years youth and teen programs at Camp Roger have offered a wide variety of activities, all centered on helping school-aged kids grow in spirit, mind and body.

Camping at the Y is a fun and unique experience that gives children and teens the opportunity to discover their full potential, meet new friends, play and create memories that last a lifetime. With so many distractions, youth aren’t spending enough time outdoors. Through camping children and teens explore nature, become a community and develop confidence, independence, leadership and social skills.
The traditional camp experience is designed for campers to discover the world of outdoor adventure through a well balanced schedule of activities. Traditional Camp provides an opportunity for campers to participate in the wide range of activities offered at Camp Roger, including; mountain biking, archery, hiking, arts and crafts, orienteering and horseback riding. Traditional Camp offers the best "all around" camping experience plus, you can connect any traditional camp session with any other camp session with a stay over!
YMCA Camp Roger Specialty Camps are designed for campers who are looking for more exposure to a specific activity or would like to spend a week with a focus on a particular topic. These camps offer more time and in depth instruction in the camper's area of interest. This camp season choose between Adventure, Extreme, Backpacking or Arts and Crafts Camp!
YMCA Camp Roger Horse Camps are designed for campers with a variety of experiences looking for an opportunity to spend their week learning more about and working with horses. These programs are designed to provide participants a full camp experience. Campers will spend half of each day in the arena or on the trail, the other half of each day the campers will participate in traditional camp activities.

The Camp Roger leadership programs are multiple week programs dedicated to transitioning teens into our future leaders. During their time at Camp Roger leadership campers will be learning what it means to be a leader, and the necessary skills and responsibilities involved.
LEADER-IN-TRAINING camps: AGES 15-16
Come join us for a Camp Roger Family Camp weekend. Our Family Camp offers you, your family and friends an array of recreational activities to enjoy and limitless opportunity to share in the “magic of a YMCA Camp Roger experience.”
